Life is Full of Sweet Surprises


So, Mother’s Day is coming up, and I found a fun and unique gift that is great to give to all those moms out there! 🙂 Instead of just giving an ordinary box of chocolates, why not sweeten things up and surprise your mom by using a book to use as a hideout for the candies! (She’ll never see it coming haha) 😛 Just take any book of choice and cut out some pages in the book to put the candies in. I think this idea is the cutest thing ever, and it’s a great way to creatively recycle a book.

Discovering New Things


During English class, we are currently reading A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. It is one of those books where you have to reread it over and over again to understand its contents since there are deeper meanings hidden behind the words. Sometimes, I would read it and wonder what the chapter was about. When you read a book repeatedly, you discover new things. You might find out new things that you never caught before in the text or finally understand the message the story was conveying. Rereading the book is helpful since you might not understand the content now, but after a while, if you read it again, you’ll understand it better when you’re able to relate to the book. You will find a new deeper meaning to the words instead of just simply taking it from the context. When reading A Tale of Two Cities, you have to think outside of the box. Once you understand the content, it’s that moment of pride where you feel like you’ve achieved something.
