Hey guys! Need help thinking of a dessert to make? Don’t worry because I’ve got your back! 🙂 I’m going to show you guys a recipe that is great when you need to make something in a hurry or just need to get rid of leftover candies and goodies. They’re easy to make and can be made without a mixer. These cookie bars are dense, thick, and full of texture. The fun part is that you can change up the recipe as you seem fit and add anything else you want also! Just use what you have on hand. Time to go through the kitchen now and rummage through all the sweets! 😛 Continue reading
I don’t know about you guys, but I love pound cake! We would buy it from the store then stick it in the freezer. (I don’t know…I guess we just like to eat it that way.) 🙂 Usually, we’d just eat the pound cake by itself because it was already yummy originally. However, on some days (which is probably all the time haha), I crave for something sweeter so I’d try to find things to make the dessert even better. I would think of things that pair well with each other for a dessert, and the first thing that would pop into my head is strawberries, bananas, and chocolate. They’re one of my favorite things to pair together. ❤ Think of the pound cake layered with strawberries, bananas, and nutella. Ooooh and maybe some ice cream too! ~yuuuum~ Perfection right there guys. This is a great dessert if you just want something easy and simple to make. Whenever I just want to change up something simple, such as pound cake, I usually go for the fruit and chocolate combo. What about you guys? Do you have a dessert that you like to change up in some way to satisfy your sweet tooth?
Recently, in class, we’ve been reading The Count of Monte Cristo, and I think the story plot is pretty interesting. In the story, the main character has multiple personalities and disguises. The different disguises mask his true identity, and what he portrays on the outside is different from what he thinks on the inside. It’s like what they all say: Don’t judge a book by its cover.
These treats reminded me about the main character in The Count of Monte Cristo. They’re dessert in disguises. 🙂
Easter is almost here so I found a treat on Brit + Co. that would be great to make for Easter! These chocolate confetti eggs are great if you want something that is simple and colorful to make. 🙂 Not only do they look amazing, they’re also edible since the shell is made out of chocolate! Here is the link for you guys to check out the tutorial: http://www.brit.co/chocolate-eggs/
Have a great week everybody! 🙂
Hey guys! Alrighty…St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, and if you need a last minute treat idea, you’ve come to the right place! I came across these Chocolate Mint Creams from bhg.com the other day and thought that they looked adorable and yummy to make. Whether you want to make these for St. Patrick’s Day or just as a treat for the week, you should check it out! Although it doesn’t really stick to the color scheme of green, I still think it’d be a hit to your friends and family if you decide to make them. 🙂
There are days in class when my teacher would surprise us with a lesson completely unexpected than the normal everyday English class, and this week, he talked to us about Valentine’s Day.
This week, my class and I did presentations on our blogs in English class. We talked about how are blogs were growing, our favorite comments, favorite posts, changes that were made, things we’re still struggling with, and basically analyzing our blog to show how we’re doing with our blogs. It wasn’t about how many views or likes you had (although having them is nice); it was about how much time and effort you put into your blog. The more work you put into your blog, the more fantastic it will look! Make it so you’re buzzing with so much joy, you can’t wait to share it with everyone! Everybody may not take interest in it, but hey, it’s your work, and you’re proud of it. You are your own audience.
Have you guys heard of Cintascotch? Well, in English class recently, my teacher brought up what he does and showed us some of his arts for mishmash. Cintascotch takes the most common and ordinary things we have and transforms them into works of art. It sparks a whole lot of imagination and creativity because there’s no limit to what we can do. In my recent post, I took inspiration from Cintascotch. I used coins as balloons for a simple UP drawing and chocolate chips as raindrops for the other picture. Not only are Cintascotch’s art amazing, he shows people to think outside the box and look at things in a different perspective. By looking at things in another way, you can create something awesome from just the things around you. Here are some of his arts using Oreo cookies, fruits, candies, and etc.~
