Hey guys! Need help thinking of a dessert to make? Don’t worry because I’ve got your back! 🙂 I’m going to show you guys a recipe that is great when you need to make something in a hurry or just need to get rid of leftover candies and goodies. They’re easy to make and can be made without a mixer. These cookie bars are dense, thick, and full of texture. The fun part is that you can change up the recipe as you seem fit and add anything else you want also! Just use what you have on hand. Time to go through the kitchen now and rummage through all the sweets! 😛 Continue reading
I came across this cake recently on Brit + Co., and I think their process of making this cake is awesome. It’s a new take on the traditional layered cake, and it looks great! The vertical layer cake is simple, yet still looks amazing and yummy. To check out how to make this, here’s the link: http://www.brit.co/vertical-layer-cake/
Hope you have a great week everyone!

Hey guys! Alrighty…St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, and if you need a last minute treat idea, you’ve come to the right place! I came across these Chocolate Mint Creams from bhg.com the other day and thought that they looked adorable and yummy to make. Whether you want to make these for St. Patrick’s Day or just as a treat for the week, you should check it out! Although it doesn’t really stick to the color scheme of green, I still think it’d be a hit to your friends and family if you decide to make them. 🙂
Hey guys! 🙂 This week I saw this recipe on cakeandallie.com and couldn’t help but post about it! When I saw the Pistachio and White Chocolate Macarons, I thought it was perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. Even though it wasn’t Irish inspired, the macarons’ subtle green looks adorable. I’ll leave the website down below so you guys can check out the recipe! Hope you enjoy~
This week we were supposed to create a WW1 poem in class. My teacher handed out papers with four poems on it, which we were supposed to read. Afterwards, we had to get into groups of 3 or 4 and create a new poem using the words from those four poems. After a while, my group and I realized it was a bit difficult to write the poem because it limited us to using only the words in the poem. We also had to work together to agree about what to write.
Just like how my group and I had to combine all the great pieces of artwork in the WW1 poems to make a new poem, it relates to how you have to be creative to combine new things sometimes and try to make something new and delicious. I recently ran across a recipe in a blog called girlversusdough, and guess what? It was a dessert pizza! I don’t think I’ve ever tried one before so after seeing this I was like “woah!” I mean…what more can I say about the combination? It was cookies and creme (one of my all time favorites) and pizza! Enough said. I’ll put her link down below~ 🙂 Hope you guys enjoy!
